If you were to get a mod shop to
do this, your wallet would probably run and hide. For most people this would be
a $20,000-$30,000 build. If you look at all the work that needs to be done and
all the parts i am going to need, that price sounds about right. However, I plan
to do mine for around $6,000-$8,000 (not including the chrome moly chassis, I
have no idea what that is going to cost me yet). Now $8k is a lot of money, but
knowing that if i pull this off, I am going to have one of the best mod sleds
you can get for less than the cost of a new sled, I feel pretty good about
it.
And for those of you still wondering, that 1200 will be making
about 250HP!! and it will be in "trail" sled form!
